Delete Physician Profile

It is possible to delete a Physician Profile, but only if the record is not referenced anywhere in HST Practice Management including, but not limited to:  Physician Preference Card, Scheduling, Patient Visit, Block Scheduling, and Billing.

 

Delete Physician Profile

• Retrieve Physician Profile
• Click the Delete button.
• A pop up will request Confirmation of the deletion. Select Yes to confirm the deletion. Selecting No will close the pop-up and return to the Physician Profile form with no further action taken.

NOTE:  Once a record is associated elsewhere in the system, it cannot be deleted. Attempting to delete a Profile that has been used will result in a red error ball with a hover message explaining why the profile cannot be deleted.

Inactivate Physician Profile

To Inactivate a Physician Profile rather than deleting:

• Retrieve the Physician's Profile.
• Select Inactive from the Status drop down.
• Click Save.
